OCEANCREST French Bulldogs – Breeding with Integrity, Passion & Purpose

With over 30 years of experience as an ANKC-registered member/breeder (established in 1995 under my own prefix), my family and I have built our lives around a genuine love for the magnificent French Bulldog.

We're proudly located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in South-East Queensland, Australia, just an hour north of Brisbane. Our Frenchies are much more than dogs—they’re beloved family members who enjoy a pampered beachside lifestyle, filled with play, cuddles, and sunshine.

Our Philosophy

At OCEANCREST, we breed thoughtfully and selectively, always aiming to produce healthy, sound puppies with correct conformation and outstanding temperaments. Whether destined for the show ring or the family lounge, every puppy is raised with the same care and intention.

We occasionally offer both show-potential and companion puppies to exceptional homes. Our lines include proven WORLD CHAMPION and IMPORTED bloodlines, bred true to the official breed standard.

Health & Genetic Testing

Health is a top priority at OCEANCREST. All of our breeding dogs undergo:

Full Breed DNA disease profiling – ensuring that no puppy we produce will be affected by the following inherited conditions:
✔︎ Degenerative Myelopathy
✔︎ Canine Hyperuricosuria
✔︎ Canine Multifocal Retinopathy 1
✔︎ Hereditary Cataracts
✔︎ Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA)
We also undertake Hip, spine and trachea X-rays and scoring.
Breeding only from dogs with sound health and superb temperaments.

We are proud to have produced numerous show champions and, just as importantly, many much-loved, loyal family companions.

Our puppies are born and raised right in the heart of our home—not in kennels or outdoor runs. They grow up alongside our children and other pets, receiving daily love, socialisation, and premium nutrition, along with the highest standard of veterinary care.

This nurturing, home-based environment ensures that every puppy leaves us healthy, confident, well-adjusted, and ready to become a cherished part of their new family.

We welcome both interstate and international enquiries. With the support of a trusted, experienced pet courier, we’re able to safely deliver puppies across Australia and around the world at reasonable rates.

We’re proud to maintain lifelong connections with our adoptive families. Many of our puppy buyers keep in touch regularly via our Facebook Page, and we continue to receive heartwarming updates—even from litters we bred more than a decade ago.

BUYER BEWARE & INTERNET PUPPY SCAMS :

Please be careful when you start making enquiries into purchasing a French Bulldog puppy. We are hearing every week of people that have been scammed out of thousands and thousands of dollars with nothing to show for their money. The scammers use stolen photos and their false adverts, Facebook pages and Websites can look very professional and convincing and their low prices are attractive to people desperate to purchase a cheaper Frenchie. I have been contacted by many people have been fooled into depositing large sums of money into bank accounts (Western Union and the like) with no puppy ever arriving and never hearing from the seller again. One lady told me she received a stuffed toy dog in the mail for the thousands she paid.
If it sounds to good to be true then it generally is!
These fraudsters use stolen photos, pedigrees and health records and are continuing to steal thousands of dollars from their victims, so please be careful!

Breeding pedigree healthy French Bulldogs is an expensive hobby, and you get what you pay for.

Make sure both parents have pedigree papers and have undergone health checcheck to see the breeder is registered with one of the State Canine Association's affiliated with the Australian National Kennel Council (not as a breeder with the local municipal council - do not be fooled when they say "registered breeder"). You can check their contact details and that they are registered with their State Canine Association by phone or email.
